In 2001, EFECO was established as a family run business delivering small and medium scale villa projects. Since its inception, EFECO has now grown to become one of the largest and most successful International Tier 1 Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) companies in the region and is now listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) exchange under the Arabtec Holding Group. As a multicultural and diverse organisation, EFECO employs staff from all over the world, specialising in complex MEP projects in the Middle East and GCC region, including highrise commercial and residential developments, villa projects, mixed use developments and infrastructure. Some significant UAE projects completed by EFECO include iconic buildings like the Nation Towers – St Regis Hotel Abu Dhabi, Palazzo Versace Hotel Dubai, Dubai International T2 Expansion, and over 14, 000 Villas in the UAE. Elsewhere, EFECO has undertaken several projects that involved complex and technically challenging work on advanced military centres and airport developments including Mid-Field Terminal Building Abu Dhabi and related infrastructure.
