ABOUT SafBon water
Our company was established in 1986 as American Engineering Services (AES), Inc. and we began custom engineering and supplying brackish and seawater desalination systems all around the globe. The company quickly became a leader in the market of municipal and industrial water treatment equipment suppliers.
In 2005 Doosan Hydro Technology was formed through the acquisition of the US water treatment division of AES and the company experienced immense growth. We were able to expand our engineering resources to compete and win large scale international and turn-key domestic projects.
In 2008 the company was awarded the Global Water Intelligence Desalination Company of the Year Award. The category represents the desalination plant supplier which has made the greatest overall contribution to the desalination industry in 2007.
The company continued to focus on market expansions and utilizing new water and wastewater treatment technologies on our global projects. We explored new regions such as South America in the mining industry and Australia in water reuse. Our project profiles began to include zero liquid discharge designs, membrane bioreactor, dissolved air flotation, ultra and microfiltration systems. We never strayed from our commitment and strong focus to design and manufacture large scale, custom water and wastewater treatment systems for the world market.
In July 2017 the company changed its name to SafBon Water Technology, Inc. following the acquisition of Doosan Hydro Technology by SafBon Water Service (Holding) Inc., Shanghai. The acquisition allows us to expand our product offerings to include the Safbon group and to keep pursuing multi-million dollar projects. Our vision to be the global leader in water and wastewater system solutions, while embracing the latest concepts of technology, continues, as does our desire to partner with our clients and suppliers.
The history of our company shows over 30 years of expansion and growth both in company size and the scope and complexity of projects undertaken.
