Egypt has spent more than a trillion pounds on infrastructure development over the last seven years, and the Minister of Investment stated during an interview with Extra News Channel's "Al-Haqiqah" program that the world had agreed by the end of 2015 on 17 goals to achieve sustainable development and reduce poverty, with Egypt at the top of the list. It was the first to adopt a national development strategy.

She noted that she engaged the commercial sector, public society, MPs, and university professors in discussions about how to attain these seventeen goals as part of Egypt's Vision 2030, and he stated that Egypt creates future and short-term plans based on these goals. adding that to achieve these goals it was necessary to implement the economic reform program.

There will be a third phase of the national program for economic and social reforms. The first phase, which began in 2016, was focused on monetary and fiscal policy, according to the Prime Minister, and it was deemed effective by international institutions.

The second phase, he said, will concentrate on numerous areas, including technology-intensive industries, information and communications technology, and agriculture.
