The pearl project
The vast multi-purpose Pearl project is Qatar's largest real estate initiative. The Pearl project consists of ten residential areas with 20 to 40 stories of residential towers, villas, homes, and restaurants, as well as public spaces such as schools, mosques, shopping malls, and entertainment centres, all of which contribute to Qatar's vitality and the spirit of a multicultural community in all of its forms.
The Pearl, a man-made island and one of Doha's largest real estate projects, was designed in detail by Dar Al Handasah. The Pearl master plan features a zigzag beachfront with direct access to the sea, as well as various public parks, open spaces, and recreational playgrounds.
