El Arabbeya for Integrated Industries Co., commercially known as Unistar, is an Egyptian company providing energy saving solutions in the field of lighting. Unistar originated in 1997, with a family of 30 employees that has now grown to 300 employees.

Unistar provides the market with an array of products that cater to the consumers' various needs, all of which are manufactured in our factory in Badr City with our Egyptian labor force and management. Our portfolio now spans across in-door lighting solutions, outdoor and street lighting solutions. We also provide the market with solar energy solutions and its applications.

Our History

Founded by Bahaa ElAdly, Unistar was a one-man's dream to introduce to the market Egyptian manufactured products with the highest global quality.Established in 1997, Unistar was specializing in design and manufactory of electrical devices and equipment, however, in thespan of 4 years, the electrical engineer ElAdly spotted a gap in the lighting field and decided to seize the opportunity. After consulting with Unistar's family, the company's production was redirected to efficient lighting solutions in 2001, starting with energy saving lamps and electronic ballasts. From that point onward, Unistar's family grew 

year after year and we gained the market's trust and respect. Staying true to our core value to provide the market with the highest quality Egyptian products with the latest technologies, Unistar started incorporating the LED technology into our products in 2011. We did not stop there, but in 2013 we were proud to add renewable solar energy and its applications to our portfolio, and we are definitely committed to continuing our journey with our consumers till we can provide every Egyptian home with a better quality of life.

- 2007:  Quality Management System (QMS) Certificate ISO9001/2000

- 2008: Egyptian Standard Mark (ES) in the production of the electronic ballast for the commercial market

- 2009: Occupational Health & Safety Management Standard (OHSAS) 180001/2007.

- 2010: Egyptian Standard Mark (ES) in the production of the energy saving lamps.

- 2014: Qualification certificate from the New & Renewable Energy Authority under the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity in the  field of renewable solar energy.

- 2016: Environment Management System (EMS) Certificate ISO14001/2015
