Founded over 30 years ago, Charilaos Apostolides (Bahrain) W.L.L. is a highly successful, multifaceted contracting and civil engineering company with operations centred in Bahrain, but also active in other commercially strategic locations throughout the Middle east.
The company was established in 1982 as a joint venture between Bahraini business corporation YBA Kanoo W.L.L., and Cyprus-based international contractors, Charilaos Apostolides Public Limited. It has successfully completed numerous large-scale, multi-million dollar projects encompassing all aspects of contracting and civil engineering works, and infrastructure development.
Over its many years of operation, Charilaos Apostolides (Bahrain) W.L.L. has a built an excellent reputation for producing work of a high standard, and for timely completion - across a broad range of business sectors that include national & regional government, NGO & government agencies, residential, commercial & industrial, retail, educational, and leisure & recreational.
Significant major construction projects feature residential developments on Tala Island, the west extension of the Seef Mall, and the Al Marsa floating city at Amwaj Island. Building and civil engineering works for the Al Dur Independent Water & Power Projectrecently added to Charilaos Apostolides (Bahrain) W.L.L.’s already extensive civil engineering and public works portfolio, which also includes major road works, irrigation & drainage schemes, dams, and electrical substations.
Charilaos Apostolides Public Limited provides the management expertise to Charilaos Apostolides (Bahrain) W.L.L. and contracts key personnel from other group companies. This is particularly significant in relation to technical expertise, as the company is able to call upon the resources of the entire group to meet the performance criteria of a project, so that there is an uninterrupted flow of work. When strategically appropriate, the company will utilise the skills and experience of its associate companies in Cyprus for training locally recruited technical staff in new procedures and processes.
