El-Sewedy Industries History.

1938 El Sewedy Electrical Equipment and Cables was established in 1938. It is identified as the cornerstone of the Group and has become the distribution company for all El Sewedy products.

1996 EGYLUX was established in 1996 as an Egyptian provider of the latest lighting solutions for residential, industrial, commercial and outdoor purposes with a strong presence in the Egyptian Market and the MENA region.

1997 Arab Steel Fabrication Co. (ASF) was established in 1997, offering a wide range of steel structure products, plate work, OHTT, telecommunication towers, poles, high masts, monopoles, grating and galvanization in the Middle East & Africa region.

2006 EMAS was established in 2006 as a provider of high quality Switchgear and Electrical products offering maximum availability and reliability in the local market and across the MENA region.

2007 El Sewedy Lamps was established in 2007 manufacturing high quality lighting products to provide professional, eco-friendly lighting solutions to protect environment through conserving energy and cost reduction.

2007 El Sewedy Cement Company was established in 2007 and started production in 2011 as a leading manufacturer in the Egyptian building materials industry. We play an integral and prominent role in the local market through our factory that is located in Sokhna; Suez Governorate.

2009 El Sewedy Ready Mix was established in 2009 producing and casting ready mix concrete.
Ready Mix ensures the delivery of high and distinctive quality concrete to its clients. It also guarantees prompt execution of all projects.

2012 El Sewedy Chemical Industries Company (ESCI) was established in 2012 as a subsidiary of El Sewedy Industries Group providing the local market with high quality building material products.

2013 Abraj is established in 2013 as a real estate development company offering commercial, residential & entertainment community projects with strategic locations.
