Egypt electric train

In August, Egypt's National Railways Authority will receive the first train from China for the new electric train project El Salam / New Administrative Capital / Tenth of Ramadan City. Egypt's National Railways Authority has stated that the train will be tested as soon as it gets in Egypt.

On the line, a total of 22 trains will operate, and the train is expected to arrive in time for the construction to be completed. The first and second phases of operation will begin in October, and the 103-kilometer line will be managed for 15 years by the French corporation RATP.

The corporation will not establish ticket rates under an agreement unless it is paid a monthly fee for management and maintenance, which does not include the cost of spare components needed for maintenance. Passengers will be able to connect to the Cairo Metro's third line at Adly Mansour metro station via the electric train project.

It will also connect to the El Alamein / Ain Sukhna Electric Express Train, which is currently under development, by meeting the Administrative Capital monorail line at Administrative Capital Station 2.
