Sejingkat Bridge Project
The Sarawak Department of Public Works intends to build the Sejingkat Bridge Project in Sejingkat, Malaysia. China Harbor Engineering is the project's construction contractor. The project entails the construction and modernization of a 3.35 km road, of which 1.28 km is a bridge. The bridge deck will be 25.6 m wide, and the bridge will be 1.28 km long. The project is currently the longest main cable-stayed bridge in Malaysia and one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in Southeast Asia. The main bridge is a double-tower bridge with a length of 200 metres, and the bridge is constructed in a T-shape with a length of 40 metres. the project will enhance the cooperation of the Belt and Road Initiative between Malaysia and China.
